Dr. Nevils graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and then from LSU School of Medicine with a degree in medicine. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Charity Hospital of New Orleans and went on to practice for almost two decades in Lafayette, Louisiana. Following a brief move to Houston, Dr. Nevils returned to Cajun country and Lafayette, where she continues to help women make educated decisions for a healthy life.
