Dr. Elipidia Balbastro is a board-certified oncology specialist with more than 20 years of experience. She is focused on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and management of cancers (leukemia, lymphoma, etc.) and blood disorders, like hemophilia and anemia. Dr. Balbastro earned a medical degree and completed an internship in her native Philippines. She later continued her training with a residency in internal medicine at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Care Center in Chicago and fellowship in medical oncology at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Balbastro is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
