Description
Dr. Henry Kaufman, Board Certified surgical oncologist, specializes in the surgical care of cancers of the skin, soft tissues, and abdominal, pelvic and endocrine organs. Dr. Kaufman earned a medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans before completing a general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine – Chattanooga Unit in Chattanooga, Tenn., and a surgical oncology fellowship at The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute in Columbus, Ohio. He currently serves as Chief Medical Officer for Our Lady of Lourdes, which includes Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, Women's & Children's Hospital, Heart Hospital and the Scott ER.
